The victim’s sister, Andrea Peltier – who has been an incredible asset to the project – seen here today in Devils Lake, North Dakota, helping to raise money for the film. Her brother’s spirit is trapped at the scene of the crime on Highway 57 and cannot cross over until the true murderers are caught. We love you, Andrea, and we thank you for your help. Eddie is watching – and is proud.

Our dear friends on and around the Spirit Lake Nation Reservation f/k/a Devils Lake Sioux Reservation organized a community bake sale today, to raise money for our Kickstarter campaign. We’re happy to announce that Incident at Devils Lake was written up in TM Daily Post, an online publication of Texas Monthly Magazine. This brings much needed exposure, and we would like to give a big thanks to Michael Hall (the author), who also wrote the original article that sparked our interest in Richard LaFuente’s case.
We appreciate the outpouring of support we have received in the few days since launching the campaign. Thank you for your generous contributions – and to everyone who has helped by promoting us on Twitter and Facebook.
